Not more than three weeks after the Officers of the Nigerian army was indicted of Raping a student of Adekunle Ajasin Akungba- Akoko, Some officers of the Nigeria police force has allegledy brutalize a lady who is a student of the Federal university of technology after same refuse to lay her body down for sexual pleasure.

With a video circulating online by both students and citizens its becoming alarming that the female students are no more safe in the hands of the Nigerian force men.
And according to one of the students Leaders, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the lady whereabout is yet to be known and they are doing their best to get to the root of the matter.

Meanwhile the Futasu student union as responded through a press release  depose to by one Comr. Ajele ifeoluwa ifekitan, the public relation officer, Futasu. With the heading "BRUTALIZATION OF OUR OWN, AN INVITATION TO RAMPAGE"

Our attention has been drawn to a video where one of our female student was brutalized by some officials of the Nigeria Police Force.

The brutalised student who has been confirmed to be a 300 level student from the School of  Engineering and Engineering Technology.

We condemn such unlawful act as we embittered by this act and we wouldn't relent until justice is served. Although we are still investigating, nevertheless there's no justification for such brutality.

We hereby make the following demands:

• The prosecution of the officers involved.

• The NPF should release a press statement apologizing to our student that was brutalized and to the entire student populace of FUTA.

• The Nigeria Police Force should pay for damages done to this student.

We are utilizing this medium to send a strong warning to all   department and branch of the Nigeria Police Force to desist from intimidating, harassing and brutalizing our students.

If our demands are not met earnestly, we would not refrain from taking out grievances to the streets.

Injury to one is injury to all.
